Chapala Canuck

The adventures of a Canadian and her cranky cat living in Mexico. All writings are my own and bear no resemblance to persons living or dead, and all are works of fiction from my imagination. Any resemblance to any person dead, alive or guilty is purely coincidental.

White Rock BC to Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico
Once upon a time I had a real career,a "normal" life and was part of conventional society. About a decade ago I decided to go my own way, operated my own business, started living on my own terms and trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up. I loved living in the White Rock area of Vancouver, BC and traveling, gardening, basically just existing. Working to pay the bills and trying to have fun and find my path. Along the way I made friends with a lot of wonderful people both near and far. I hope they will follow me as I share my next adventure - Moving to Mexico! I am single, female, mid 50's and attached to an orange cat affectionately known as the Tiger. He has renamed himself El Tigre del Norte and mostly sleeps but the odd time he does something cute and noteworthy so will be given space here. His lawyers will be monitoring anything said about him closely LOL. We have decided to sell the house lock stock and rain barrels and relocated in the Lake Chapala area of Jalisco, MX in early January 2011. So if you are a new friend, an old friend, a stranger, come in and enjoy my musings! Wish us luck and have fun following our journey.
